Athena Solar was founded by Rodney Pitford, a solar professional with roots in the industry dating back to 2010. Rodney originally founded OTG Solar in 2010 and helped build it into a successful solar business before selling the company in 2016. After working with the acquiring company through the transition, he launched Athena Solar in 2017 with a focus on quality workmanship, honest customer service, and long-term solar system support.

Today, Athena Solar specializes in solar installation, solar repair, remove and reinstall services, battery backup systems, and helping homeowners maximize the value and performance of their solar investments.

Unlike many companies that only service systems they installed themselves, Athena Solar regularly works on systems installed by other contractors and helps customers solve difficult problems that others cannot.
